The coaching relationship is a powerful collaboration between coach and client to promote personal and professional growth. Like an athletic or voice coach, a personal coach challenges you to live up to your potential and achieve your objectives. No serious athlete or singer would pursue success without a coach – and neither should you!

The coaching relationship creates momentum through accountability and synergy. It is a tool that can be applied to almost any situation or goal, such as:

  • Improving order, balance and fulfillment in your life.
  • Successfully managing difficult relationships in your life.
  • Earning more money and being more effective at work.
  • Negotiating life transitions such as separation and divorce, job changes and retirement.

Mediation puts the parties in control. Mediation empowers the participants to formulate creative solutions that meet the needs of all parties. It eliminates the traditional winner take all approach in favor of a collaborative approach where it is the parties’ interests rather than who is "right" which leads the discussion.

Debra is a skilled and sought after mediator in San Diego and along the West Coast. Through mediation, she can help you become empowered to voluntarily reach agreements around issues that matter and differences that separate you from what matters most.

Debra’s experience in “both gain” resolutions can help you whether you choose to continue the relationship or elect to dissolve it. Parties in mediation not only resolve conflicts but, oftentimes and more importantly, restore relationships (that matter). See our Ten Reasons to Mediate (PDF) for more details on why our service and mediation may be right for you.

Conflict Management

Wherever choices exist there is potential for disagreement. Such differences, when handled properly, can result in richer, more effective, creative solutions and interaction.

Whether dealing with family members or hired personnel, sooner or later challenges will arise. It is unlikely that we find ourselves at a loss of words when dealing with family members. Communication patterns with those closest to us are not always positive, however, often falling into a predictable and ineffective exchange.

Debra’s 20 years as an experienced and skilled mediator and certified conflict resolution specialist can help you resolve some of your most challenging conflicts.

If you are in a high conflict relationship, Debra can help you find peace and manage the challenges unique to these types of relationships. (Indicators of High Conflict Divorce PDF). Also examine Debra’s High Conflict Diversion Program (PDF) if you are in the initial stages or process of divorce.
